Awarded: Naval Construction Group ONE (NCG 1) and Naval Construction Group TWO (NCG) Support
ProSol was awarded a Prime contract in support of another new customer, Naval Construction Group ONE (NCG 1) and Naval Construction Group TWO (NCG 2) which are Echelon IV commands reporting to Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC). They serve as administrative Immediate Superior in Command (ISIC) for Active and Reserve Pacific and Atlantic Naval Construction Forces (NCF). ProSol will provide technical trainer construction module manager support capable of providing consistent oversight of apprentice level Seabees completing construction tasking at 26 (13 per NCG) technical construction modules in order to meet the level of training derived from Navy Occupational Standards (OCCSTDs) and in the long run develop, enhance, and maintain trade skills for the Pacific and Atlantic Fleet Naval Construction Force. Our employees will provide administrative, technical, and operational support to units under Commander, NCG 1 and Commander, NCG 2. We will assist with development and implementation of a structuralized instruction methodology to fully optimize the existing Naval Construction Force (NCF) Seabee Technical Trainer (STT) resources. These responsibilities include developing and providing specific construction procedures with hands-on practical trade application events that directly correlate to the content found in the Builder, Construction Electrician, and Utilitiesman Navy Education Training (NAVEDTRA) Rate Manuals and current industry building codes and standards (American Concrete Institute, American National Standards Institute, National Electrical Code). ProSol will be involved in developing and refining construction module training packages to provide familiarization of the various Rate related subjects by extracting content from the NAVEDTRA manuals, and various recognized construction references and codes. Finally, ProSol will also develop and refine module execution packages, including tool and material lists, to facilitate hands on field instruction and execution, and is responsible for constructing necessary construction module mockups needed to complete any of the 26 NCF STT Modules.
