Awarded: USN SSNN IT

This effort is in support of a new U.S. Navy customer, the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, USN, Newport News (SSNN).  This is an Information Technology (IT) program where ProSol supports the customer with SharePoint Operations and Microsoft Access/InfoPath design and development.  This IT support occurs in a legacy Department of Defense Information processing network; residing at the Component Enterprise Data Center (CEDC).  The network consists of Government and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) IT applications, systems and services, Windows Active Directory Servers, File Storage, Citrix Systems, SharePoint, and Primavera; and the SUPSHIP Microsoft Access Database (SSMAD) server, a standard Windows File Server connected to the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), Networked Printers, as well as Laptop and Desktop Computers.  This legacy network is designated as a mission assurance category III, Unclassified Navy Nuclear Propulsion Information (U-NNPI). SSNN IT currently supports 800 users, 1000 PCs, 300 Smartphone hand-held devices, and 150 Printers at various locations throughout the Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) complex.
