ProSol, PS Charities Employees Support Race for the Cure

On a hot, humid Saturday morning, 50,000 people hit the streets of Washington, D.C., in support of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The event, held June 5, 2010, included a contingent of nine ProSol and PS Charities employees (photo at right; click photo to enlarge).

“It was a great way to get out there and show our support in the fight against cancer,” said PS Charities employee Lauren Rachal. The event kicked off at 8:00 am at 7th Street and Madison Avenue. The 3.1 mile course continued through the streets of the Distict and included breathtaking views of the capital's monuments. Pink Warriors of all kinds came out to show their support as participants or cheerleaders. All were there for a single cause - to help find a cure for breast cancer.

The goal of Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is to raise $4.5 million for breast cancer education and services.
