Special Operations

Overview | Client Success Stories

ProSol is an integral part of the enhanced training required across the full spectrum of the U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF). Within the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and across the subordinate components, ProSol has demonstrated its operational, tactical, training, and logistics capabilities, supporting everything from assessment and selection programs, to basic and advanced SOF operator training, to deployment certification exercises focused on irregular warfare and advanced special operations.

Medical and Tactical Safety Support

ProSol provides medical and tactical safety support staff to ensure the safe and effective training of all MSOS students, and is the only company with medical certifications, licenses, and insurance on file with the customer. ProSol has the distinction of bringing these medical and safety services to all contractors and service members involved in training at no additional cost or increased labor hour burden to our clients.

Close Quarter Battle and Weapons and Tactics

ProSol employs former active duty special operator SMEs from across all of SOCOM’s components, each with extensive operational and training experience and component instructor certifications. They provide reliable, relevant instruction in the areas of close quarters battle as it applies to compartmentalized, urban, and maritime terrains. Our capability to execute formal and scenario-based training across the full spectrum of SOF weapons and foreign weapons includes mounted and dismounted operations, as well as other light infantry tactics.

Special Reconnaissance

Special reconnaissance provides the intelligence required to drive special operations. ProSol provides special reconnaissance training for entry level and advanced special operators as they prepare to deploy. Our special reconnaissance subject matter experts (SME) are providing instruction related to urban and rural combat reconnaissance and surveillance; information collection and reporting procedures; close target reconnaissance and close access persistent surveillance; target acquisition; and exploitation and analysis. ProSol brings years of experience to bear in teaching technical surveillance, counter terrorism and counter insurgency techniques tactics and procedures as part of its instructional curriculum or exercises.

Intelligence

ProSol’s all-source analyst experts with recent operational experience train both the current and future special operators of SOCOM to conduct the analysis necessary to create true intelligence. Our intelligence SMEs understand the nuances and complexities of connecting data points to produce relative actionable intelligence and, more importantly, know how to train operators to do the same. Our SMEs also develop and provide programs of instruction for formal classroom instruction, classroom culminating exercises, and scenario-based exercises that test and evaluate all intelligence subjects taught.

Role Players

ProSol provides role players in support of SOF training and culminating exercises. ProSol’s full range of role players includes everything from cultural atmosphere CAT I role players to CAT III linguists.

Scenario Development

ProSol U.S. SOCOM customers are famous for training the way they fight and demand the most realistic challenges for their scenario-driven exercise. ProSol’s intelligence and SOF SMEs are experts in providing exactly the scenarios required to evaluate the readiness of deploying units, the understanding of entry-level operators, and the analytical ability of the intelligence elements. ProSol’s scenario developers can produce exercise architecture that will effectively challenge the special operations requirement of operators at the tactical, operational, strategic and national levels.

Scripting

Scripting is the thread that holds scenario- based training together. Role players must know their roles and each scripted event should support other scripted events. The data points that are derived from these mutually-supporting events, once analyzed, should produce actionable intelligence. ProSol and our numerous SOF and intelligence SMEs have scripted ongoing SOF exercises that continually challenge participants to think outside the box, analyze data, and make decisions in real time that are relative to current global SOF operations.
