Mission Operations & Assurance

Overview | Client Success Stories

ProSol provides a full scope of capabilities to help secure our clients’ information and resources, mitigate risks, and counter threats that impact mission-critical operations and assets. We provide support in developing an enterprise-wide approach to maintaining operational readiness, even in the wake of catastrophic events, by integrating our security focus with contingency planning and mission needs. We also safeguard information and information systems by ensuring confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity, utility, and control.

Emergency Preparedness

ProSol’s experience includes development of Emergency Management and Continuity of Operations Plans which are used to respond to diverse incidents ranging from natural disasters, to hazardous materials, to terrorist attacks, to the Space Shuttle launch at Cape Canaveral. ProSol examines potential emergencies and disasters based on the risks posed by likely hazards; develops and implements programs aimed towards reducing the impact of these events; prepares for risks that cannot be eliminated; and prescribes actions required to deal with consequences of actual events and to recover from those events. We have overseen the planning, execution, and evaluation of over 100 full scale, tabletop, and functional emergency management exercises, including writing after action reports and codifying lessons learned into policy documents. We also provide advice and analytical support for internal review and evaluation of contingency planning and incident management processes.

Operations Assurance

ProSol helps our clients create a state of resilience that supports the continuity of mission-critical operations and protects staff, assets, services, and functions. ProSol maintains situational awareness for national infrastructure and security related events, and coordinates across agencies to respond to and resolve security and safety-related incidents. Our approach addresses risks in a uniform and systematic manner across the entire enterprise for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other clients. ProSol supports two operational level directives within DHS, and was recently selected to receive the 2010 DHS Small Business Achievement Award for its outstanding work in support of the DHS mission.

Information Assurance

ProSol’s Information Assurance (IA) professionals support all facets of certification and accreditation (C&A), including developing and reviewing documentation, conducting security tests, and risk and vulnerability assessments. ProSol develops and regularly reviews system security plans, and conducts interviews, performs tests, reviews system documentation, and performs physical inspections to ensure that the plans accurately describe the management, operational and technical controls of their respective systems. ProSol also assists in establishing policy and assigning responsibilities to achieve Department of Defense IA objectives through a defense-in-depth approach integrating the capabilities of personnel, operations, technology, and support the evolution to network centric warfare.
