ProSol provides federal clients with a wide range of information technology (IT) support services.

IT Project Management

ProSol supports the full investment life-cycle, from planning, through acquisition, and to disposition. ProSol’s certified project management professionals follow industry best practices, such as the Project Management Body of Knowledge, and focus on continuous risk management to ensure that projects meet all cost, schedule, quality, and scope targets.

Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC)

ProSol assists in the development and maintenance of Exhibit 300s and all supporting documentation such as cost benefit analyses, operational analyses, risk registers, and earned value management analyses. ProSol also supports federal customers in the periodic investment reviews required by the Office of Management and Budget.

Enterprise Architecture (EA)

ProSol provides EA documentation, planning, and advisory support for government organizations on all aspects of the enterprise, and defines and shapes the current and desired target environments and transition activities for all applicable business functions. ProSol develops a comprehensive approach to defining the optimal enterprise and the required steps to realizing cost, performance, and risk improvements across the organization.

Information Assurance (IA)

ProSol develops IA policies and procedures for its customers, and monitors organization-wide compliance. ProSol also follows the risk management framework in supporting the full security life-cycle; performing certifications and accreditations; continuous monitoring; plans of actions and milestones updates; and vulnerability assessments.

IT System Audit Response

ProSol assists federal technical and management staff in providing timely, accurate, and scope-controlled responses to FISCAM, FISMA and A-123 audits.

IT Systems Operations and Maintenance

ProSol supports both minor and major applications and general support systems for the federal government. In coordination with users, system owners, security, and EA, ProSol monitors and manages governmental systems and ensures that all change management, release management, and configuration management issues are addressed, while maintaining the highest level of system availability. Where applicable, ProSol applies IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concepts and practices to service delivery and service support issues.

Network Administration

ProSol supports products such as Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, and Windows-, UNIX- and Linux-based servers. ProSol monitors the health of these devices and servers, and ensures high levels of system availability within agreed-upon service-level agreements. Where applicable, ProSol applies ITIL concepts and practices to service delivery and service support issues.

Database Administration

ProSol supports a broad spectrum of database management systems ranging from MySQL to Microsoft SQL Server to Oracle. ProSol monitors database usage and performs continuous fine-tuning to ensure the highest response levels possible.

IT Help Desk Operations

ProSol provides phone, e-mail, and walk-in help desk operations support for desktop, network, and application issues. ProSol uses issue-tracking systems such as JIRA and Remedy to record, track and resolve customer-reported issues. Where applicable, ProSol applies ITIL concepts and practices for service desk management.
